Defender Kevin Long won five games on loan at Barnsley, while fellow full back Stephen Ward returned to the Burnley side with four wins in January

West Brom's James McClean started more games that finished all square in January than any other Irish player, the winger drew four of the six games he started
Losses
Not a good month for defenders, with teammates Richard Keogh and Cyrus Christie losing four of their games in January, the same as fellow defender Damien Delaney, and midfielder Jack Byrne

Goalkeeper Ian Lawlor started seven games in January, split between his loans at Barnet and Bury, and completed 90 minutes in each one. Of the outfield players, Delaney, Long, Ward, McClean, Glenn Whelan and Samir Carruthers all started six games, with the defenders going on to play every minute of those games
